Freedom Principle MO - 2026 Legislative Priorities
We Don’t Just Talk About Changing Policy—We Make it Happen.
In 2025, Freedom Principle MO turned grassroots grit into historic legislative wins that the Jefferson City establishment fought hard to block. We were a driving force behind the passage of key legislative bills, including:
HJR 73 restores, protects, and ensures the health and well-being of all women and children, born and unborn
HB 495 restores law and order in St. Louis City and strengthens consequences for violent crime
HB 152 slams the door on foreign contributors and stops the radical Progressives from interfering in Missouri ballot elections
SB160 protects religious freedom and conservative values on college campuses
But we haven’t declared mission accomplished and gone home. In 2026, we are reloading and advancing.
Our 2026 Legislative Priorities are bolder, sharper, and more comprehensive than ever. Building directly on what our members fought for and achieved in 2025, this new agenda is a full-spectrum battle plan to reclaim Missouri for the hardworking, law-abiding, freedom-loving citizens who built this state.
In 2026, we will:
Finish the job on public safety by ending cashless bail for good, imposing real accountability on soft-on-crime judges, and giving victims the right to sue negligent local governments that let rioters destroy their lives and livelihoods.
Lock down election integrity with paper ballots, proof of citizenship, closed primaries, and an end to college-town vote harvesting.
Deliver historic tax relief by phasing out personal property taxes, killing the corporate income tax, and moving toward zero state income tax—while slamming the door on racial reparations and ESG nonsense forever.
Save our public schools by requiring every municipal and school board election in the November general election ballot.
Break the government school monopoly by empowering every Missouri family to choose the education that is best for their child-public, private, charter, or home-using the tax dollars already allocated for that child’s education.
Secure Missouri’s energy and food independence with abundant natural gas, nuclear expansion, and a full rejection of subsidized green energy boondoggles.
Safeguard medical freedom, informed consent, and access to common-sense treatments while rejecting forced organ-harvesting regimes and fluoride in our water.
Reassert the God-given right to keep and bear arms with stronger Second Amendment protections and anti-red-flag laws.
Slash spending, shrink government, and create a Missouri version of DOGE to root out every dime of waste, fraud, and abuse.
Restoring constitutional local government by killing the earnings tax, dismantling St. Louis City’s outdated Charter, and enshrining the Constitution Sheriff
This isn’t a wish list. This is the roadmap that Freedom Principle MO members discussed and approved—and the marching orders we are handing to every legislator who wants our support in 2026 and beyond.
We are the voice standing up for freedom, liberty, and citizenship in Missouri. And in 2026, we’re not just talking about changing policy—we’re making it happen again, only bigger.
